Martin Lauzier, PhD
Martin Lauzier is an industrial psychologist and a full professor of human resources management in the department of industrial relations at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. He is Scientific Director at “Centre d’études et de recherches en psychologie industrielle et comportement organisationnel (CERPICO)”. His research and teaching focuses on human resources management and development. More specifically, he is interested in aspects of the interface between individuals and organizations that promote a balance between well-being in the workplace and organizational performance. His research output includes over 150 publications in various forms funded by SSHRC, FQRSC, ISM and IRSST.
Winner of several awards, he has published his research in national and international scientific journals, and presented the fruit of his work at many scientific conferences in Canada, the United Sates and Europe. Before becoming a professor, he held a number of positions in human resources management, change management and organizational development in various Canadian federal public service departments. He is a senior researcher affiliated with the Institut du Savoir Montfort – Research and a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec and the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés. In 2016, he won the UQO award of excellence for the high quality of his teaching.
